  The first problem I had with Peninsula Honda was my parents (in their late 70's) purchased a brand new CRV. Not long after buying it (I think only weeks), the car had a flat battery after driving to the shops about 6km away. They got a jump start and took it back to the dealer, to be told they couldn't find a fault. Fair enough, however after this had happened several times the service department told them they just need to drive it further between starts. So mum and dad were now driving the car on a 20km route to come to my house 2km away. I told them this is crazy. When it happened again my mum was very distraught, so I went with my parents to the dealer and told them they can have the car back, it's a lemon. I was met by the service manager with a "What do you expect us to do?" comment. I told him they need to do SOMETHING like set up a monitoring device to find the problem. he told me nothing like this exists... however I used to did this type of work for Holden, so I know it does exist. In the end I said we aren't prepared to take the car back unless they do something, to which they agreed to replace the battery under warranty, that they said is worth $600 (What???). They replaced the battery and the fault hasn't happened again.
  The second problem I have with them is that my mother in law has always taken her 2006 Accord to them for servicing. Her recent bill for a basic service was $605. This included a $25 driving brake test, and sanitising the airconditioner for about $90, (which didn't smell and wasn't requested to be done because she rarely uses it), and a fuel injector service when there has been no issues or fuel economy problems??? The rest was just an oil/filter change and general check over. She is taking it elsewhere from now on
  What a ripoff, taking advantage of their older clients. It's people like this that give the automotive industry a bad name.
