  No quality at all! If you’re after a nice seafood meal seek out other places. I don’t write reviews, but people need to know! You’ll pay the same price for quality; fresh tartare, fresh calamari & Australian seafood.

  The fish tasted fresh and the chips were nice. The price compared to the portion was high. It's in a nice location with outside tables and you can also takeaway to have it at the beach. Not the best idea to have a communal salt and vinegar station.

  I have visited here quite a few times and although pricey I think they offer some very tasty options, both fresh and cooked. However, their customer service has been found severely lacking at times. I was overcharged on one occasion and although a partial refund was given, they then lost/forgot my order. On another occasion when returning with young ones wanting an ice cream, I was told they were too busy to serve the ice cream. Why have an ice cream bar then? Confusing.

  Best fish and chips in Sydney. Even the most basic order - the beer-battered fish and chips - is divinely crispy and fresh. Other offerings like the crumbed calamari, grilled octopus etc. are fantastic as well. No Balmoral visit is complete without coming here!
