We were treated with such disdain by the girls who work there, they were exceptionally rude and arrogant. When we approached the counter my wife and I both smiled at the girl and said, "good morning" to which she replied with a grunt and, "what would you like?" We ordered a juice for our daughter who then changed her mind so we apologised, the girl grabbed the juice and huffed as she walked away to put it back in the fridge. After this we continued ordering and halfway through she turned away from us, walked to a fridge and then came back. We really should have told her then and there that her customer service skills were very lacking but we were intrigued to see if they would improve when she served us...they definitely did not! I watched the interactions between all the girls and none of them were happy, two girls actually had a disagreement in the little kitchen area whilst they were working. If I was responsible for this café I would be horrified with the these girls' behaviours. If you don't want to work in a customer service field then you really should consider going elsewhere. As a person who enjoys going to cafes I have never been to a café where I have been so poorly treated and made to feel like an inconvenience for wanting to order coffee and food. I have been a customer at the Degani café in Bentons Square where the experience was the complete opposite. A smile and pleasant comment never hurt anyone!!
